I don't think they had someone who knew a lot about games doing this. In addition, they're method for placing games into categories is, at best, severely flawed. Like I said in my previous post, there doesn't seem to be any logic behind their choices. Many of the games they chose are on multiple platforms, yet they list it for only one category or another.
Even their categories are bizarre. They place "DOS/Windows" under Era 4, which runs from 1995 to 2002. DOS games were dying in 1995, mostly due to Win95. If anything, DOS should've been listed in Era 2 (1983-1989) and Era 3 (1989-1994) instead.
When I found this I was excited, but I should've looked it over first. Considering the timespan, I had assumed some classic PC games (like King's Quest) would be included.
