Games you're looking forward to in 2012

Post by DeadPoolX »

Well, 2012 is here and there's supposed to be a lot of new (and hopefully good!) games released this year. Which ones are you interested in?

I'm looking forward to the following:
  • Mass Effect 3
  • Guild Wars 2
  • Borderlands 2
  • Tomb Raider (the 2012 series reboot)
I know the last entry seems odd, but Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix are rebooting the entire Tomb Raider series. They're changing a lot, starting with Lara Croft's physical appearance. If you're interested, here's the official trailer.

But, don't forget about Mass Effect 3, either.

Diablo III, Mass Effect 3 and maybe Ninja Gaiden III. Depends on what I read first on Ninja Gaiden since the creator has left.

Anyone notice every game we mention is a sequel? I'm really hoping for something new.

Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age III (if that's still supposed to be realeased this year), Skyrim DLCs and I hope the Telltale's KQ will be out this year as well.

Did I mention I'm in the beta for Diablo III? >.>

I'm looking forward to that...eventually. I wasn't too thrilled about it until after I played it, seems fun.

Not really looking forward to any games. If something catches my eye, I might try it, but I'm not really a "XYZ is coming out this year and I MUST GRAB IT!!!!!" sort of person. ;)

On the other hand, I got Skyrim a couple of days after it came out. So maybe I'm just a gamer in denial.

On the other OTHER hand, I used to buy a lot more games than I do now (some of them quite abysmal). Maybe I've simply become more discriminating and less impulsive as a gamer? *shrug*

I'm looking forward to Dragon Age III, but I won't grab it the day it comes out. I think I'll wait a few months, read a few reviews, listen what you all think here, and generally take my time before trying it. :)
