Many of you will remember Grim Fandango, the game that combined 1930s style art deco with a jazzy soundtrack, a great film noir story, and very sharp writing. Of course, the user interface was... less than helpful.
Well, Double Fine Studios and Tim Schafer (who created the original) are now re-mastering the game to eliminate the bugs and improve the UI. Among other things, on the cards are (I'm guessing?) a more traditional point-and-click interface - which would certainly help! The game will be available for Playstation 4 and Vita, PC, Mac and Linux.
The news is all over Twitter, Joystiq, Eurogamer and [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/vi ... -And-Linux]Escapist Magazine[/url], among others.
So, my GF brethren (and sistren )... rejoice!
Slightly old, but GREAT news for all you Grim Fandango fans!

I'd be willing to play Grim Fandango if it has a more user-friendly interface. That was my main issue with the game when it originally came out.
I have to admit, I'm surprised they're including PC, Mac, and Linux in this. I'd heard about a remake quite a while ago and at the time, all the reports said it was to be "console only." Don't get me wrong, I'm glad something changed along the way and it'll be available for computers now.
Interestingly enough, only Sony's console and handheld unit are included here, so it looks like Microsoft is being excluded.

Maybe they realized that a lot of the built-in fan base would want PC versions.
