Toonstruck! Thinking of making ISOs of the disk but that's going to eat disk space and, if Fort Boyard was any indication, it's not going to boost performance. But I'm having great fun playing in spite of having to wait for the dialogue on occasion: I still remember how the puzzles go, but have forgotten most of the lines.

The ISOs don't have to be permanent. Try it to see if it helps, if it does not, delete them.

It saves me from the annoying loading issues but unfortunately it does leave the other problem: the animations run a lot slower than the matching dialogue and pauses between lines are long. Max frameskip didn't help. I can press space but it does take the timing out of the comedy.

The animation now ends at the right tempo, but the dialog is accompanied by a nasty sound. Didn't get very far because of that.

Yes but the extension sav is not allowed, so I can't attach it here: let me upload it to my A-drive.

Will there be anything else you need in order to use it?

I'll take a look. BTW, anytime you try to post a file type that I have not explicitly allowed, just zip it to post it.

I'm currently playing Prisoner of Ice. It's a fun game, but had a different feel when compared to Shadow of the Comets.

Just curious, but what is the difference between DOSBox, and ScummVM when playing Toonstruck?

Haven't really tried it in ScummVM.

I'm probably switching between at least ten different games of entirely separate genres. As Maia could tell any of you, I have the attention span of a gnat.

Fortunately, I'm very focused when it comes to certain activities, like driving. But on the computer or watching TV? Not even close.

BBP, I am not getting any noise. Could you upload a video to your YouTube account to demonstrate?

Doozo. I put it on my Tumblr since the combination of joint accounts and Recommended For You, I now have my Youtube cookies set so I don't get the Recommended For You but it does mean I have to log in to YT onto another computer. And I can't be bothered to do that, so now it's on my Tumblr.

Wow. I don't get that at all. Try lowering your cycles some (CTRL+F11). If that does not work, I'll look into trying ScummVM for the installer.
