Finished it... whew...
Think I would've liked it better if the graphics didn't glitch on me the way they did, that was a bit of a mood killer. Otherwise it's pretty fun!

True about the graphics glitch - I wanted to play more Broken Sword, but those glitches turned me off. 
Do you know if they happen in other BS games?

Broken Sword 3 ran well with no problems. I understand it's best to run the first two games through ScummVM.
Checked it out and found that the voice actor for George Stobbart, Rolf Saxon, also narrates the Teletubbies.

My replay of the game was kinda fun. At some point I found a pair of underpants towards the end, as Nico - played through everything after getting the undies, twice, but I still couldn't find where to use them.
The game's subtitle files can be read in NotePad, there turns out to be quite some unused material in it that's very interesting: the underpants turn out to appear at a point where I couldn't use them in game.
Also had a lot of, well, interest at trying to find out whether Emily's really a ghost or not - found a message of one of the writers on a messageboard: apparently she is.

There is text for it in the subtitle files, but it doesn't look like it was programmed in.
