Find The Bioware Thread.

Post by Tawmis »

Despite being mainly for Sierra - there's plenty of Bioware (Game) fans and thus plenty of Bioware related threads. Figured I'd make a thread that links to the many Bioware Game Related Threads on here:

Bioware Technical Issues - Having problems with a Bioware game? Post it in this thread!

The Bioware Acquisitions Thread (image heavy) - Come brag about what Bioware games you have recently picked up.

Bioware RPG Spoilers and Bioware RPGs - A place to safely discuss Bioware game spoilers. But the forum now has SPOILER tags that gray out text.

Bioware Companions - Come by and list your favorite Bioware Companions, whether you have played one Bioware Game or all of them!

Mass Effect - Bioware heads into space on their own epic creation!

Mass Effect 2 - A sequel to a hugely popular game? Who would have thought...

Mass Effect 3 - Now available for Pre-Order.

Jade Empire - Bioware jumps into its own world and creates an amazing one at that! Normally not my thing, I found JADE EMPIRE to be absolutely epic!

Knights of the Old Republic II - While not Bioware, the first was done by Bioware, the second was handed off to Obsidian.

Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO - Will you be enticed enough to pay a monthly for this epic MMO?

Dragon Age & Mass Effect Figures - Can't get enough? Get these (expensive!) figures and keep making up your own adventures!

Dragon Age: Legends - Because Dragon Age just had to be made into a Facebook game too...

Dragon Age: Origins (and various DLC for DA:O) - This massive, ever growing thread is chalk full of Dragon Age: Origins goodness.

Dragon Age: Awakening - Dragon Age: Origins, first and only, expansion, rather than DLC.

Dragon Age: Origins - Toolset - The overly complex, yet amazing, toolset.

Dragon Age II - Because no one suspected they'd make a sequel, right?

Dragon Age II: Add On - Mark of the Assassin

Dragon Age 3 (AKA Dragon Age Inquisition)

Dragon Age IV news

NEW! New Dragon Age Announced 2020

Web Series:

Dragon Age: Redemption - The Web Series.

FANFIC:

Dragon Age: Life Begins With Death. The story actually begins here on SHP, since previously it was linked to the Bioware Social Site. Dragon Age: Life Begins With Death is a fanfic of originally created characters in the Dragon Age setting, taking place at the same time the Grey Wardens make their stand against the Darkspawn and Teyrn Loghain pulls his forces back, leaving the Grey Wardens to be slaughtered... Character Photos Are Here.

Neverending Nights - A Machinima series based on the game "Neverwinter Nights." NeN takes place in it's own world (not Forgotten Realms) and follows two would-be heroes who go on a quest to slay a dragon just so they can become rich and famous and never have to pay for a drink again... turns out... things are a little more complicated than that...

The Dark Tide - Another NWN Machinima, this time I didn't make it, but I do one of the voices! :D

It almost seems like a BioWare sub-forum should be made. :geek:

 ... wonders if he could sneak that past Collector... Nah...

I did go through and combine all the related threads... there were two or three on Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age, Dragon Age II, and such... just to tidy it up a bit.

What, no thread devoted to Neverwinter Nights (1 or 2)? ;)

Not even a thread devoted to Neverending Nights...

I was surprised there was no NWN thread as well...
As for Neverending Nights... there's got to be a few of those here and there... I just figured, they're not directly a part of Bioware, and more of my own doing.

I'm a neat freak, so tidying is always good in my books. :D Even digital clutter is annoying.

Now I just have to catch up...

Maia's neatness stat is +10. Mine is -3. Imagine the hilarity that ensues! :D

Due to my high spot stat, enough clutter will make me go into berserker mode. Then you'd be wise to do that. ;)

Getting caught up on the Bioware threads!

Isn't it kind of ironic that I'm going to ignore the CRPG thread for tonight so that I can go play ME2?

New Dragon Age Novel Announced, Do You Feel Better About DA2 Now?
Tor announces a brand-new entry in the video game novel trilogy; dragons suspected to somehow be involved.

The short answer is no, this will not help us feel better about Dragon Age II. But it might help us feel better about Dragon Age III.

BioWare is determined not to repeat the mistakes it made on the sequel, so don't expect to see any chapters being reused or the fantasy book being replaced by a junior novelization.

Dragon Age: Asunder is set to continue the saga of the first two Dragon Age novels, Dragon Age: The Stolen Throne and Dragon Age: The Calling. Written by the same guy who did those two, BioWare lead writer David Gaider, Asunder will be out in late 2011.

The new novel will build on the Dragon Age II story, "expanding and illuminating new corners of the world Thedas."

Here's the official summary:

"A mystical killer stalks the halls of the White Spire, the heart of templar power in the mighty Orlesian Empire. To prove his innocence, Adrian reluctantly embarks on a journey into the western wastelands that will not only reveal much more than he bargained for but change the fate of his fellow mages forever."

Stupid templars. As you might have gathered, you're probably best off reading the first two books before this one comes out in fall. Learn more about it at http://dragonage.bioware.com/agegate/?url=%2F
