If it's an EA game, that's highly unlikely. EA's only interested in games that have multiplayer that involve microtransactions and loot crates.

Don't get me wrong, this would be a very nice surprise, but I'm not holding my breathe.

Considering the outcry and resistance (no pun intended) that Star Wars fans made against EA over the Battlefront games (so much that Bob Iger himself called up EA to deal with the situation), I think it's possible it made even multiplayer-and-microtransaction-fevered EA take a step back relent a little bit. Time will tell.

It's definitely a single player game, though. I haven't heard any news about multiplayer, Course, that doesn't mean anything.

I hope it's a single-player game (with no micro-transactions). I really do have the Star Wars bug - and would like to play a solid (updated) Star Wars game.
