Actually, they're right on #20. If you look closely at the screen shot, you'll see the World Trade Center towers and that gives it away. Plus you can tell that's Manhattan and SF doesn't have island (unless you count Alcatraz, but that was a prison, not an island populated by citizens) whereas New York does.

I know why you'd say that's Manhunter: San Francisco since there's a very similar screen shot in it (just as there is in Manhunter: New York). For all we know, it may very well be M:SF, but given that screen shot as our ONLY reference, it's not unreasonable to assume that's Manhunter: New York.

I have both games DPX, that screenshot is from the 2nd game, not the first. It's the very beginning of game 2 when the hero leaves that city to travel to city #2. I checked. It's possible that shot is in both though.

I have both games as well, but I played them a LONG time ago. I know both cities are shown in the second game, so maybe you're right. I think the first city is also shown in the first game, however. It'd be weird if it wasn't, considering that's where it takes place. :P

One thing is for certain and that the screen shot -- regardless of which game it is -- is almost TOO difficult due to the subject matter of both games. It would've been nice if the screen shot had shown something that's only in one game or another.

Perhaps the quiz maker only played the first one.

I'm really interested in finding out which game #1 and #22 are supposed to be. I can't figure it out.

I have all of the answers, so I can reveal any of them when people give up.

Eh, 20 out of 38. I had no idea what some of these games were.

2. Blade Runner (I've never played the game, and this was just a lucky guess.)

5. The Dig

6. Discworld II: Missing Presumed..?!/Mortality Bytes

7. Day of the Tentacle

12. Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade

13. Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis

15. King's Quest: Quest for the Crown

16. Lighthouse

17. Loom

19. Maniac Mansion

20. Manhunter: New York (Another guess; I haven't played any of the Manhunter games yet, but they're the only AGI games I know of that would have scenes like that, I just typed in "Manhunter", and voila.)

21. The Secret of Monkey Island

25. Sam & Max Hit the Road

27. Shannara (One of the few Legend games I haven't played, guessing what this one was was pretty much a process of elimination.)

26. The Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Rose Tattoo (Yet another lucky guess. I had no idea what game this was from at first, then noticed that the man on the far right looked a lot like Sherlock Holmes. I typed in that name, and that was enough to pass as a correct answer.)

29. Simon the Sorcerer

30. Space Quest II

31. Space Quest IV

33. The Last Express (Very few games have a look this unique.)

36. Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders (Missed this on the first try because I didn't spell Zak's name right.)

Darn -- I could have sworn that game was Gateway, but I didn't know that there was a sequel. I tried typing in "Gateway", but that was rejected. So this quiz accepts "Manhunter" as an answer to a game which is part of a series that has more than one title bearing the same name, but doesn't accept "Gateway"?

10 is based on one of my favorite SF novels. The quiz also did not like the full title of it.
